Private VIP Chinese Classes for Children and Teenagers
In recent years, China has become one of the main global players and its influence continues to grow. Understanding China’s culture and language today already opens up many business and career opportunities. Considering the country’s evolution, in the future, speaking Chinese may be crucial for professional success in an increasingly globalized world.
Mandarin, in terms of phonetics, language structure and grammar, is very different from Western languages, and learning it poses a great challenge for adults. Starting early allows for faster and more natural assimilation of the language since linguistic structures are not yet fully developed.
At EsChina Space we are aware of the growing interest among many parents for their children to take their first steps in this language at an early age. For this reason, we have designed study programs adapted to each stage of children’s development.
What our Chinese courses for children and teenagers are like
- Small group classes: At our center we offer courses in small groups (maximum 6 children). Check here the groups with open enrollment
- Home classes: We offer the possibility of Chinese classes at home or at school, either private or for several children.
- Classes from age 3: Our study method and teaching materials are designed for children from the age of 3 and adapted to each age group.
- Own teaching materials adapted for children: Our center specializes in teaching Chinese. Our Director of Studies is a native Chinese, with extensive experience and a Master’s degree in teaching Chinese to non-native speakers.
- Experienced teachers: All our teachers are native speakers with experience in teaching Chinese to children and/or teenagers.
EsChina Space Commitments
- Standard Chinese: China is a huge country with many dialects, Mandarin being the official one. It is not unusual in certain areas to find people who do not speak Mandarin properly. In Barcelona, most of the Chinese community comes from one province in the south whose dialects are quite far from Mandarin. For this reason, finding native Chinese able to speak Mandarin correctly can be difficult. Unlike many centers, we are able to evaluate our teachers’ Mandarin level and only select those whose knowledge is appropriate and without a heavy accent. Our commitment is that your children will learn proper Chinese and not a mix of dialect and Mandarin.
- Quality classes: To deliver our lessons we always count on experienced teachers and teaching materials supervised by our Director of Studies. In addition, every certain period we evaluate the teachers to determine if they meet quality standards and to look for possible improvements in the learning method.
- If you are not happy with the teacher, we’ll find you another: Our commitment is to the quality of the lessons we deliver, so if for any reason you are not satisfied with the teacher, we will find a replacement.
Price
Our base price for home classes is €30 per hour. Discounts or surcharges may apply depending on the number of students and/or travel (outside the city of Barcelona).
